Growing up in Hertfordshire Kristin knew after her very first dance lesson, at the age of 3 that this was what she wanted to do when she grew up, and so the story began…
Kristin’s passion has always been dance. Being able to tell a story and express feeling through movement was what she did best. Kristin spent many precious hours of her early life choreographing. Her formative years of dancing (from age 3-19) were spent at Harrison College (now Margaret Howard College) and Kristin was trained by Elizabeth Harrison. Upon completion of her dancing exams Kristin went on to Performers College and onward to train in New York, regularly at the Broadway Dance Centre.
Following on from this training Kristin went on to dance and choreograph professionally both in the UK and abroad, taking principal roles as well as understudying for lead parts. She has performed at the London Palladium and Sadlers Wells to name but a few and has made TV appearances.
Kristin’s passion for inspiring children and teaching is proven through her continued training as a teacher and her desire to give her students up to date and fresh ideas. Kristin has and continues to advance with a course called “The Pulse” in New York where she trains with some of the worlds top choreographers including Brian Friedman, Laurie-Ann Gibson, Tyce Diorio and Cris Judd. Her passion to pass, not only dance, training but to give individuals her time to build confidence, inspire them and to reach the potential of their drams is very apparent as second nature to Kristin.
